Heather Nauert

 Heather Ann Nauert, born on January 27, 1970 is an American journalist on the radio who was previously an official of the government. She was the spokesperson for the United States Department of State during the Donald Trump administration (2017 to 2019). She is a senior fellow of the Hudson Institute, which is a conservative think-tank.



 



 Before joining the Department of State she was a Fox News correspondent and news presenter. From March 2018 until October of 2018, Nauert served as the Acting Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy, Public Affairs and Diplomacy in the Trump administration. Nauert was appointed to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board in 2019 by President Trump.
